Our wallpapers are printed to order in matched panels. This allows us to only print what you need, reducing the impact on not only our resources, but also your wallet!

All our wallpaper panels are 60cm wide. Just select the panel height that fits your wall and order however many panels are needed to cover the width.

So if your wall measures 245cm high and 280cm wide your going to need 5 x 2.6mt panels.

Installation + Care

Prepping your wall

Just like you would when making a pizza, wallpapering starts with a good, solid base!

Make sure your wall is clean, dry and free from imperfections such as dents and bulges. For a perfect finish you can sand and paint the wall with a wallpaper priming paint you'll find at you local hardware store. You can also give the wall and good clean with water and sugar soap and let it dry overnight.

Setting your first panel

This one's the important bit. Your first panel will determine how the rest of your installation will go. Cut the header off your roll of wallpaper and use this to get the edge of where your first panel will go. Using a plumb line or a laser level draw a straight line down the wall with a pencil.

PEEL + STICK

Carefully peel a small amount of the top of the wallpaper from the backing paper. Apply the top of the panel to the wall, ensuring that the right-hand edge aligns with your vertical line. Carefully peel away the rest of the drop from the backing paper and gently apply it to the wall working down toward the bottom of the panel. If you need to re-position any part of the panel, simply peel the appropriate amount away from the wall and re-apply.
Gently smooth out the mural as you go.

NON-WOVEN, VINYL & GRASSCLOTH

These wallpapers are made using a non-woven base, which means that you apply the adhesive directly to the wall. Make sure to use a premade tub paste to avoid clumps caused from powder wallpaper pastes. Start by pasting an area enough to cover just over one drop width at a time.
For best results apply a good, evenly spread coating of paste on the wall.

Align the top of the panel to the wall in the correct position, while also aligning with the marks that were made down the vertical plumb line. Carefully smooth your hand over the paper so that it sticks to the wall, it is easiest to smooth from the centre outwards. If you make a mistake, remove the length and start again. Apply more adhesive if the first coat has dried.

Applying second and subsequent panels and double cutting joins

Once your first panel is on the wall, take your second panel and line it up alongside the first.

There is a 1-2cm pattern overlap on our wallpapers which helps to achieve a perfect finish. Once your second panel is lined up and on the wall, take a straight ruler and a really sharp stanly knife and cut through both panels in the overlapped section all the way down the wall. Pull out the offcuts and your panels will join up perfectly. For the peel and stick wallpaper you can leave the overlap on the wall.

Continue this process for the remaining panels down the wall.

Trimming

When you've finished applying all your panels you need to trim the top, bottom and sides. Using a straight edge or putty knife push the wallpaper to the edge and cut along, make sure to regularly snap off the knife to keep it sharp, this achieves the best finish.

Caring for your wallpaper

Our wallpapers are washable with a soft sponge and a mild soap. If you get them dirty, get to the spill straight away, clean off with the soapy sponge and dry with a clean towel. Make sure to not rub too hard or use an abrasive sponge.

Our Vinyl wallpaper can be cleaned with a 1:10 bleach solution and a wet cloth. If you are using this wallpaper in a wet area, be sure to seal the joins with a clear, waterproof sealer. This stops moisture getting in behind the wallpaper and lifting it from the wall.
